I have been a customer of The Four Wheeler automobile repair shop for over 18 years. During that time the mechanics at that facility have repaired and maintained five different vehicles that I have owned including an Oldsmobile, a Toyota Corolla, a Ford SUV, a 1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and my current vehicle, a Jeep Liberty. Their services have varied from simple oil changes to much more complex tasks including installing a new engine in the Monte Carlo. The work they have done for me has consistently been of exceptional quality. The mechanics are meticulous in their attention to detail and they are scrupulously honest in their dealings. There have been times when I have asked them to perform a particular service because I thought I needed it and after checking the car have advised me that it need not be done or that it should be delayed until later. By the same token, they have discovered work that has been necessary and have called me to advise me of the problem. I was particularly impressed by the work they did on my Monte Carlo while installing the new engine. It required modification because of some of the peripheral systems such as the air conditioning. The owner of The Four Wheeler machined some of the parts needed to fit the peripherals onto the engine. It was a time-consuming and exacting task and the mechanics performed it with precision and expertise.Their prices are more than reasonable. If they find a new problem, they always call to explain the problem and the associated costs and they always give accurate estimates for special tasks to be done. I am never surprised by the bill.I have recommended them to several of my friends who have sought a new automobile repair shop and they have all been satisfied with the services of The Four Wheeler. In short, I give them my highest recommendation and I would not take my cars anywhere else.
The 4 Wheeler represents the old fashioned and rare attributes of integrity, honesty, and work done well. I have trusted them with my Jeep for about a dozen years, and now my daughter's Jeep goes there as well. In addition I have referred countless people to them, and continue to refer them to others.I cannot recommend them highly enough.
With this letter, I am pleased to provide a positive recommendation for The Four Wheeler of Boulder, CO.It would be impossible to say enough good about Mike Wilson and Bob Allan and the business they run. I personally have used The Four Wheeler for over twenty years (through three Jeep vehicles), and have always been exceedingly satisfied with the service I have received. This includes not only their fair pricing schedule, but also their knowledge and expertise (and their willingness to share this knowledge or to research a problem), their promptness in delivering a vehicle with promised, and always their complete openness in advising the customer of current and potential problems to keep a vehicle in top performance condition. Most recently, our family had added two other members using the services of The Four Wheeler: A daughter who has an old vehicle with numerous problems, and my husband, who owns an aging foreign automobile. In the first case, The Four Wheeler has willingly taken care of all her car problems (many of which were long-standing), based on her ability to pay for services, and working with her as necessary. In my husband's case, having recently expanded their services to include some foreign automobiles, The Four Wheeler was able to diagnose and consequently repair what was relatively minor annoyance for a much more reasonable price than what had been quoted by the manufacturer's local dealership. On a couple of other occasions, The Four Wheeler has diagnosed and repaired his vehicle when the service department of the local dealership was unable to do so.I am completely satisfied with this auto repair business and only wish we could have all our friends, neighbors and relatives use them for their auto service needs. The Four Wheeler is great!
